| "Through A Child's Eyes" is a book I wrote after I arrived in America in 1946. It tells of my experiences in Holland at the start of World War II in May of 1940. I was seven years old when the war started and my story is typical of how a young child reacts to what's going on around him. I was curious, I was a little rebellious and I got into some troubles along with my young friends. I talk about my experiences with the German soldiers during the occupation and my experiences with the Canadian soldiers who liberated us. Dedicated to my mother who, through this difficult five year occupation, took care of us by foraging for food, protecting us, keeping us in line to the best of her ability and saving our very lives at least once. Palthe Foreword (partial) If you had asked me twenty five years ago if I thought it possible to get answers from the body or if I believed in past lives or that God would answer my questions directly, my answer would have been an emphatic no. Today the answer is yes. How this change came about is the reason for this book, but the larger purpose is so you, the reader, can open your mind and experience changes in your own life. My mission is not to preach but to inform. You will learn about Kinesiology or muscle testing (MT), the term I use most often. You'll learn how MT that can be used for health care and its many applications in that field. However it is not the intent of this book to make you a certified practitioner of Kinedsiology. This is my story and how MT led me to the discovery of using it to answer all those questions we ask ourselved in the middle of the night when we can't sleep. Using Kinesiology to determine your nutrient needs. An Illustrated Manual. Learning is an exciting experience. For myself I found that the more I learned, the more I wanted to learn. I hope it will be so for you. You'll learn the accepted definition of Kinesiology, the early primitive uses, the modern health care uses and the potential if affords for non-health care activities. Why Kinesiology should be used in healthcare, what advantage it has over simply looking at symptoms, why integrity must be held to the highest standard will also be discussed. You'll learn the procedure for muscle testing a client or patient so you can get started. How to ask the questions will be fully covered. Then later in the manual you'll learn procedures for self-testing, sorrogate testing, etc. A muscle test analysis chart is presented. It includes body parts and systems, conditions and nutrients. It is quite comprehensive and has been shown to be accurate. If after getting all it has to offer under your belt and you feel there are other conditions that would be appropriate to test, feel free. This manual would not be complete without my story because what I experienced led to my greatest understanding and the discovery of the true definition of Kinesiology and who it is that's doing the answering! The focus of this manual is on Kinesiology. I deal with herbs and supplements because the foods we have been eating do not provide the nutrients anymore that our bodies need.
